BMW B48B20A Gen 1

This configuration applies only to the B48B20A Gen 1 engine itself and does not include any vehicle-specific settings.
Be sure to configure all additional components such as the low-pressure fuel pump, cooling fans, starter, and other auxiliary systems.

This is a base map. It is highly recommended to tune the car before first full-load use.
B48B20A Gen 1 Engine (higher compression variant) from BMW F20 120i (184 HP)

The map was calibrated on a dynamometer:

• Power: 252 HP
• Torque: 342 Nm
• Boost pressure: 90 kPa (0.9 bar)

Setup Details:

• EMU PRO-8
• GDI Driver

The attached map controls the following:

• GDI injectors
• GDI high-pressure fuel pump
• Alternator control using a LIN signal
• Closed-loop of the oil pressure
• Electronic throttle
• Knock control
• VVT solenoid control
• Electronic thermostat closed-loop temperature target (Position detected with the SENT protocol-based sensor)
• Electronic wastegate

Non-mapped or unsupported features:

• Valvetronic control is not supported and requires a fixed lock at the maximum intake valves opening.
• This configuration is only for the B48 Gen 1 engine itself. It does not include any vehicle-related settings. Remember to configure vehicle-related components such as the low-pressure fuel pump, fans, starter, and so on.

Modifications:

• Exhaust system without catalytic converters
• LSU 4.9 sensor installed in the downpipe (OEM oxygen sensor is not supported)

Treat this base map as a baseline for further refinement.
It is critical to verify all assigned outputs and ensure they match your wiring. In the software, go to “Tools / Assigned outputs” and “Tools / Assigned inputs”. If the assignments do not match, do not load the map to your ECU. Adjust the outputs as necessary before proceeding.
