Re: E46 DBW problem IDLE TOO HIGH , because of SOFTWARE ?
problem is that throttle body even when ignition is off, is a little bit opened, so its mechanical 0 position is not fully closed see attachment, throttle body by its self is always little bit opened, and i need EMU to rotate it backwards to fully closed. My tuner who has a LOT of experienced with e...

Re: BMW e46 M54b30 DBW idle issues
There is no point changing that, because my actual value stays always in column with 5%. So red crosshair is always above the 0 column...Nightsmoke wrote:Are you using the original throttle?
Try changing the first colum in DBW characteristic to 1 or 0

I have only 1 resistor with my module, so i have to put it between two wires of Can-h and Can-l ? or there should be two resistors on both ends between two...

Ok so if i have only one solenoid per cam i connect as standart VVTI system with diode (diagram), not like double vanos ? Also if you already answered me do you know if m54b30 has ignition coils with or without amplifier (picture) ?PSI-Motor wrote:No built in diode, just connect the - to AUX.

Re: 3 wire pwm idle valve problem
Sorry me for my bad english, do you mean EMU must be powered with diode ? Or EMU must be connected to fixed 12v not ignition switch 12v ?Jadzwin wrote:You powerup the EMU via diodes. Connect the +12V side of diodes to fixed 12V not to switched 12V..
