Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Are we ever going to have simple and basic things like a 2d table for fuel cut rpm vs coolant? Idle afterstart increase vs coolant temp? Strategy to keep the idle pid inactive during deceleration? Any news on the knock control? I'd like to have a manifold pressure or tps based activation/deactivatio...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I have a problem with a Cooper S R53 with the pnp adaptor, the canbus vehicle speed is periodecaly falling to zero and causes problems with gear detection, which in turn causes issues with the boost by gear (it's converted to turbocharged). On another mini i did with the pnp adaptor there isn't a si...

Re: Injection angle control - new software
hi, no you need to end injection before opening intake valve.... so i gues most of my ecu's are between 450 and 300degree. I found out the engine likes 400 degrees aprox (end of) at idle, but it works fine with many other angles, except the area around 250 degrees where it starts misfiring. I am th...

Re: Injection angle control - new software
In both end of injection and start of injection option, the table is degrees BTDC on the compresion stroke? So the 400 degrees default number applies only if someone selects start of injection? I guess end of injection would be right before the intake valves close, 140-160 degrees?

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
And another possible issue. The trigger delay value seems like it's not working properly. I tried to align the timing on two S2ks (F20C) using the stock ecu as the reference, and the delay value doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to do even if i set it at 255us. I follow this procedure : instal...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
To the ecumaster team, can you reduce the minimum value allowed for the idle pid max feedback - (negative) to 0? Drops momentarily and goes back to normal? I have this in my S2000 too, with both the EMU and EMU Black. Yes. I think it has something to do with high knock sensor readings or detected kn...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
In idle control you can setup diferent idle valve DC for non idle state. That allows to control how fast the car decelerate when you close the throttle. This tbale is called Idle RPM ref can we add idle DC correction to the timers, for a soft rpm return which is good whith light flywheels etc. Sorr...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Any news on the knock control? I'd like to have a manifold pressure or tps based activation/deactivation. (As mentioned a couple months ago, i get huge spikes when letting off the throttle.) Also every now and then my RPM gauge(OE) drops without any reason, connected to aux 4, don't know if this ha...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Nick you are incredible..... you have the most request of all..... are you dealre or at least user of EMU ? Because its really awesome how many requests you create... wow My requests are important things that should be there already for the most part. Ι shouldn't even have to ask for a fuel cut rpm...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Are we going to see any of these improvements any time soon? Important things that need to be improved : -TPS settings resolution, one decimal digit -Idle pid lockout strategy during decel -fuel cut rpm vs coolant temp table -table set 1/table set 2 break points independent from each other And some ...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Rev counter went mad again today, so 2.041 didn't fix the issue, at least not besides cranking The fix was only for cranking. So you have seen the spike on your rev limiter ? Any misfire during this ? I didn't feel any misfire, no, neither did i feel it the other times it happened. Yes, i see the s...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I don't see how it's an adder, it's clearly a multiplier based on what i see. I have to insert 8%, to get 2% dc increase with a base dc 24% (24x1.08=25.92) I don't have any datalogs with the issue, but i do have an onboard video where it happened. Project, Honda S2000 F20C, multitooth. (12 evenly sp...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Regarding the version 2.041, bug fix "rpm spike (for low resolution trigger wheels and TFI) during cranking bug fixed" : i have this bug since i had the EMU, and now with the EMU Black, but it doesn't happen only during cranking, it also happens often during hard driving (full throttle and/at high r...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Is the idle pid activation via virtual par. output 3 working properly? I am ticking the option in idle pid, and then setting the virtual output 3, RPM->lower than 910>hysterisis 100, but i still see the pid lowring the valve dc at 1400rpm during deceleration. (910 because i have idle target at 860rp...

TPS settings resolution is also a big disadvantage. One decimal is a must.shrek69 wrote:Bosch Motronic since 1987 has the overrun fuel cut over colant temp.
