Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Desktops windows created with previous version are lost with EMU Client 1.187. Can open previously saved desktops file and it will load with all windows as expected but after close and re-open, most windows in each tab disappear. Must open my desktop template with each launch of EMU Client. Saving d...

I'm in US, have a silver one and have tuned several black ones and my silver one seems to work the same.

Re: Knock Sensor Setup
Resonant sensors will have much higher voltage output than flat response sensors so the gain and integrator settings will be different between the two types. You will have much better knock detection with flat response sensors. I would set it up so the knock-free Knock Sensor Value gets up to around...

Re: Injector Phase???
I haven't looked at it in a while, but if nothing has changed in the firmware then this is how it works: http://forum.ecumaster.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=154 With injection offset of zero, the injector that's assigned to Ignition Event 1 will open at the point of 1st trigger tooth. So, in your case, ...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi, noticed the MAP based DC ref table option in 1.134. Will we see further development with this? Each boost target will have a certain DC that attains that target. An option like "Boost Target based DC ref table" would be great.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
You connect this dongle to EMU extension port (the proper cables will be available next week). This device has 2GB memory and real time clock so the logs are stamped with the proper date. If you need to read the log you connect the dongle to PC, copy file to disk and using Import Keelog function in...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Better description: In table below, the two left columns show resulting boost levels for different wastegate duty cycle levels on a car I tuned. The scaler from 250kPa for each of those boost levels is in the third column. The right column shows what the EMU will use as the base duty cycle for each ...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Can you explain me more ? Link to my original post: http://forum.ecumaster.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3&start=60#p1087 Essentially, base duty cycle is set correctly at the 100% level and discrepancy increased the further away from that. It is a bigger problem when using a 4 port valve. Assigning a co...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi Jakub, I wonder if you'd consider a change to boost control. I think I asked before, but don't see an answer. The boost target tables are all great, but the base DC tables are not. Is it possible to change the Boost - DC Ref table to Boost Target vs RPM vs WG DC?

Re: [TC] - Traction Control setup
Can someone suggest a strategy for choosing TC Sensitivity value? With 100ms, I'm reaching TC dRPM Raw of about 370 in 1st gear with no slip. It looks like full scale for this channel is 1000. I'm starting out with 100ms Sensitivity and trying to set the gear scale so TC dRPM is around 100-120 for e...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
That's great news! Saw there were some issues with 1.1 and hadn't yet tried it out. I added some feedback in the other thread. Further suggestion: Channels and options are "grouped" in predefined windows. It would save a lot of screen space if we could simply put the specific channels we want in a s...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
For knock control: I would like "Knock Sensor 1 Value" and Knock Sensor 2 Value" in channels list. Or, better yet, channels for each individual cylinder. Also, gain adjustment for each cylinder. For EMU client, can we PLEASE have ability to add as many tabs as we want and be able to name them??!! I ...

Re: Detonation
Kurt you are not right. The logger is quite smart and it show the maximum value of knock level , voltage and all cylinders on what there was detonation between each log frame. So even the log works 5Hz you still will see any knocking and you will get information what cylinder was involved. Very goo...

Re: Detonation
20Hz logging is useless for trying to see knock events from the Knock Sensor Value channel. You can see knock events with 20Hz logging through the Knock Action channels after it's all been set up correctly.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I would appreciate test outputs (ignition and injection)for example in the tools / test ignition and tools / test injectors in different modes (all, semi-sequence, full sequence) and adjustable frequencies either in Hz or RPM. Or will it come like a good idea? +1 Would be good for calibrating injec...

The EMU doesn't have onboard ecu logging memory. PC logging only with this system.

You'd have to post your log file and calibration to get an answer to that.
