Re: Unexpected Missing tooth
I have heard from more people that they need to install resistors on the s54 engines to get the trigger working properly.
Also for guys running maxxecu aswell

Re: Unexpected Missing tooth
I am really curious why do you play with setting, resistor etc.... you have everything right, only your wiring is shit, so change the cable for this sensor and done changed my "shitty wiring" with brand new shielded cables.. all the same added after that a 5.6k ohm resistor on the triggersignal wir...

Re: Unexpected Missing tooth
tried changing rejection angle, on 1,2,3 it was the same as before, on 4 and 5 it randomly stopped and was giving prime trigger noise error
will test with 10k ohm in serial tomorrow, if no other settings could do the trick ?

Its not stock wiring, i built a standalone harness
Im usibg raychem shielded wire on the crankv(vr sensor)
On the camsafts sensora (hall) i dont use shielded

Unexpected Missing tooth
Struggling with my S54B32 in the dyno a few days ago it started to cut at 5700rpm we found out it had Unexpected missing tooth error at 3500-3700 rpm tried different settings on trigger and best result were Adaptive threshold: LOW Pullup/Pulldown: None Input Filter: None and Crank detection scale 70...

idles well but chokes on throttle
the car is set to 10 BTDC, and idles very well, but as soon as i give it little throttle it dies out and start to misfire. if i rev it up very slowly i get it up to higher rpms
i also note that when using timing lamp, it does not give a signal on idle, only gets signal when it falls on rpm

got the most things working now, but the coils. according to the manual the passive coils should have constant +12v, and connect the ground to the wires from the EMU; but bmw coils have 3 wires coming from them. Am i supposed to connect them to +12v, ground, and the emu (ignition)wire to the third w...

low resistor injectors
hi, about to connect precision low ohm resister injectors, and in the manual it says i need 4,7 ohm resistors. the grounds of the resistors is connected to a common ground, and before this all the grounds of the injectors goes together and goes through a 240 ohm / 2 W resistor. is this enough or mus...
