Re: 1jzgte sounds like it's missing
I just had a quick look and no trigger errors so it just needs a tune it will never run well when its almost off the scale rich the whole time!! ... Have you calibrated the external sensor so it matches the EMU lambda?? you should use the internal wideband controller when ever possible!! ... maybe d...

Re: Boost control
yes stepper Op will be fine but you will need a flyback diode
I have an m54 CLT cal it might not be perfectly accurate but definitely good enough to use.

Re: Ground wireing correct?
ALL the ground wires in an e30 loom attach at the same point in the engine bay, brown and also the brown/orange wires are all the same throughout the entire harness and all ground at one single point on the strut tower. Its a good idea to move that ground point from the strut tower to the engine block

Re: Broken Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor
ok sounds like you have more than one wiring issue! 99% of all problems are wiring or earth related, check all the pins in all the plugs check your sensor grounds are seperate from your chassis grounds check all the ground wires from the ecu go to the engine block double check all the pins are in th...

Re: Broken Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor
from your logging it looks like your sensor is either not wired correctly/has a bad connection or it has no power supply to the heater, its showing high duty cycle for the heater but the RI feedback is not moving at all also what firmware are you using its doing something odd at the start, might jus...

Re: BMW V8 M62B44 - questions about ignition system
you only need crank sensor and will need to run waste spark because there are only 6 ignition drivers. The new emu-classic will have no problem running 2 passive coils from one driver, the older version can do it also but the ignition drivers will be under a lot of load so keep your dwell time as lo...

you can turn off the over run fuel cut and bump all the VE table right up high in the over-run area, That makes nice big harmless flames out the exhaust on decel and gear changes etc

Re: Base Map for 4AGE 20v Blacktop
you really done need a "base" map the ecu will read all the oem sensors and im sure the trigger configuration is commonly known so you can just build your own "base map" in about 20 minutes, reading the user manual is a great start as far as i know there are 24 cam teeth as primary trigger so that t...
