Re: Can Output to AIM Dashes?
That would be awesome, but I am not familiar with can addresses and protocols.. I know enough to know that if you get it wrong, it messes everything up.

Trouble Building a Switchable Map
I have 2 different maps and I want to build a single switchable map. My problem is I cannot load or copy the cells from one map into the other. For example, if I highlight the cells in Map #2 and then copy them. When I go to paste them into ignition map #2, when I right click I cannot paste the cell...

Re: Timing Drift Issue
When you change the primary trigger from rising to falling, you'll need to check timing and reset your trigger angle, as you're probably moving "TDC" as the ECU sees it by a full tooth. What does the timing light show when you change the trigger edge? Also, can you attach a log so that we can dig f...

Re: Timing Drift Issue
I have not played with the input delay as I am not sure what this does and its effect exactly.
I'll try doing the same with the cam trigger as I did with the crank trigger to see its effect.

Re: Timing Drift Issue
Some additional Info.. The cam trigger is right where it should be directly in between 2 primary triggers, but when I rev it, it moves a little. Seems like this COULD be normal with a timing belt motor because of belt deflection/stretch but unsure. The motor has a brand new gates racing belt on it, ...

Re: Can Output to AIM Dashes?
Can anyone elaborate more on this? Connecting a MXS Strada to an EMU Black and had a quick go tonight.Has someone succesfully done this via CAN? What do you set the dash to in Black software as AIM is not listed? Cheers Paul Open EMU Black Software Go to "Can, Serial" and then "CAN" Check the box "...
Re: Honda VSS
Settings for a S2000 VSS:
Hall/Optical Sensor
Enable 1k Pullup
No Input Filter
Falling Trigger Edge
Divide by 16
This works with my car, however I have 3.63 gearing. You will need to adjust the frequency divider to calibrate for your own gearing.

Timing Drift Issue
I am having some issues with the ignition timing. FYI, I am not a tuner, I am a well versed and knowledgeable mechanic, but definitely no tuner. I got the car up and running good enough to take it to a tuner and he was supposed to take it from there. He found that the timing drifts 5 degrees retarde...
Re: Honda VSS
Wow, cant believe i wiffed that one.
Obviously a VR sensor doesnt have 5v going to it, as a magnetic sensor generates its own voltage.
NickBMW, mind sharing your settings?

Honda VSS
What type of signal is the EMU Black looking for? The Honda S2000 has a 3 wire VR VSS sensor. 5v, signal, and sensor ground. I have it all hooked up and I just get jibberish when the car is moving and 0 with the car at a stand still. Doesn't matter what multipliers you use. If you use a filter of an...

Does anyone know how to make the EMU Black communicate to an AiM MXG Dash?
