any little help by experienced users or Admins? this is the little info i got on the sensor: http://forum.ecumaster.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=1217&sid=3e1a325a723910c1074ae626587a965a but allready tryed the 3 (CAS) wires with or without pullup on multiple ignition configs and cant even scop...

BMW 320i vanos M50TUB20 siemens MS40.1 Crank wiring?
Hello everyone, have anyone installed a DET3 on a M50TUB20 with the ECU Siemens MS40.1?
My Doubt is about the wiring on the CrankShaft sensor, since its completely different from all the other engines in BMW and could not find a wiring diagram for this ECU.
Thank you very much.

Re: A few questions
yes the factory Narrowband sensor is disconnected, anyway it would only have influence while youre idling or cruising(closed loop). like i said, i had it in Fuel implant mode before and just switched back to piggyback mode, and since my project is nothing hardcore, its much easyer and stays nicer in...

Re: A few questions
true, you set the fuel map according to your AFR readings in the 1st horizontal 2d map (Analog #3) which is your Wideband, and leave it all at 100 which means no correction to the map. If the value on those 2d correction maps its greater then 100 it adds to the fuel map final value if its less then ...

Re: A few questions
i had it in fuel implant mode with maf deleted before, but i just made the wiring in a way that i can switch to piggyback mode, fuel implant or stock just switching a couple of plugs. Using piggy back mode again, reading map as load and changing maf signal to control injectors. As for timing i bough...

Re: A few questions
hello there, if your DET3 has the map sensor built in it must allways be configured in Analog IN #2 either 250kPa or 400kPa, you just have to choose wich one from the correct config files, but allways on Analog in #2. Im also doing a Nissan but a SR20DE+t and i have it wired like this: A1 - from MAF...

Re: Any way to check real time ign timing?
i had the same problem on my car (Nissan SR20DE), had to buy a consult(Diagnostic) cable to be able to see what timing was the stock ecu adjusting so i knew where i was.

SR20DE Ignition Advance/Retard Doubt
Hello, on my Primera with SR20DE (Turbo converted), using DET3 Fuel Implant mode, Primary trigger is connected as Wiring diagrams suggest - Ignition Amplifier which only allows to retard ignition and not advance. Problem is, on ignition Map, all the changes made, are done over what the Stock ECU is ...

Re: Lost my Crimps to connect wires on DET3
Hi there, i had a similar problem, and found out that Computers power supply plug to Motherboard is exactly the same 20 pin plug, i ended up picking one old power supply and used the plug with all the wires allready crimped on it, just welded every wire again!

Re: Nissan Primera P10 SR20DE+T + DET3
Wideband kit is now connected and calibrated, and about the previous question i fixed it programming the LC2 controller so both outputs, output the same 0-5v signal at 7.35-22.39 AFR. So the wideband is now connected to the map switch analog in (Pin2) on the DET3, and selected the available LC1 conf...

Re: Nissan Primera P10 SR20DE+T + DET3
The Wideband kit finally arrived, but have a doubt... Have anyone connected a Innovate LC2 wideband controller to the DET3 and the wideband gauge? LC2 controller Yellow Wire provides the 0-5v signal for AFR, but its the same wire that gives signal to the Gauge, is there a problem using the same wire...

Re: IAT sensor wiring
Yes, thats how i have done, but with a 2k resistor on it which was i had in handy, and seems to be working ok!
ill make my own Knock detector/analyser now and i should be fine to start tuning it properly as soon as the wideband arrives!
thanks!

Re: IAT sensor wiring
ok, nevermind, that is on the FIT Manual and i guess the +5V out is good for this.
Is it just me or it looks like everytime we take a look at the manual there allways seems to be something new on it...
in case someone comes with the same doubt...

IAT sensor wiring
Hello, since the car doesnt have a IAT sensor, how would the wiring be done to the DET3? Ground -> sensor -> Analog#4 IN(pin16) ??? Or should the +5V Output be used with a Resistor trough the sensor to the Analgo in beeing the resistor value the one used in RX on calibration Menu? +5V out(pin12) -> ...

Re: Nissan Primera P10 SR20DE+T + DET3
from what i understood, for the Injectors configuration (Injector Opening time (MS)) it reffers to injector cadency at 13.5V and searching for the injectors i am using 370CC from SR20DET, the cadency for that value was calculated approx. 0.7ms, is it correct to be playing with this value? wont that ...

FIT Launch control enrichment
Hello!
Using FIT mode, the enrichment value for the launch control will only affects the analog out to factory ecu wich doesnt controll the injectors anymore, so the launch controll will only be using the ignition retard in FIT mode or is there something i missed?

Heres how the Fuel Table Looks now. http://kamikaz33.com.sapo.pt/nissan/mafmap.png and Heres is the VE table how i have it now... is there a wasy to lower the values? if i would decrease the injectors CC value would i be able to work with lower values on the VE ma...

and after softening that table i should only tune and adjust based on AFR the VE table and leave Fuel table alone?

Re: Nissan Primera P10 SR20DE+T + DET3
thank you, Wideband to pin 2 and move the Maf to analog #4? cant i use the analog#4 with the wideband and leave MAF on pin2? Also in Fuel Implant client, i can only see how to set analog #1 parameters, how could i define #4 is a wideband or something else? would i have to manually edit the .INI File...
