Re: Eliminating an AFM in Fuel Implant Mode
Ecu will still require its load input, either using the stock AFM or building a load map from it (AFM elimination) Timing adjustment beyond the stock map is not an issue as you are using the det3 load map to adjust timing. The ecu will apply a timing figure at its max load on its own internal map, a...

Re: Eliminating an AFM in Fuel Implant Mode
In FIT mode you use the internal MAP sensor as your load reference to control the injectors directly - The stock ECU has NO CONTROL of the injectors while in FIT mode. As your are NOT fudging the AFM signal, the Stock ECU will not compemsate by adjusting timing :) You will be required to add a AIT S...

FIT or piggyback mode??
161 is airlow meter, so you will want to eliminate that in the end.

Re: Simple question about the OFF mode
if you power of the unit, then signals from sensors to the stock ecu will be lost.
You would be better having the map switch mode in DET3 used.
have a set of maps where you have adhustments amde, and one were you dont.
then just switch between the maps

Re: FEATURE REQUEST: ANTILAG (over run boost enhancement)
no its not for show :) i have found another way round which may work 1. Set parametic output 2 and connect to spare analog channel say CH3 in parametric settings use A. Anaolog sourve for Throttle postion < 5% (i.e. off throttle) And RPM > 4000 Then in Lanch control configuration set the following 1...

Re: 3SGTE wiring Gen2 and Gen3
I found Gen2 wiring (flapper AFM) and ignition system should be same, but NO pullup on the IGT signal???
download/file.php?id=93
I needing to know if the gearbox speed sensor signal needs a Pullup too??

Re: 3SGTE wiring Gen2 and Gen3
does anyone have the wiring for ST205???
i need to know if i use the G signal from dissy or just IGT signal from igniter, and wether the speed sesnor signal
needs a pullup or not???
Thanks

Re: FEATURE REQUEST: ANTILAG (over run boost enhancement)
yes we used to do that with most piggy backs and also custom ecu images for evos and such, basically called it "pops n bangs"
Problem is it has to be done in the higher RPM of the high vac areas to avoid high vacumn mid range cruising areas which effect
driving

FEATURE REQUEST: ANTILAG (over run boost enhancement)
Jakup, it seems that the DET3 has enough hardware features that it could be used as a Device for Antilag. Not be be confused with 2 step or launch control. Nobody in the world supplies a standalone ALS Controller, and even many expensive standalone ECU's do not provide a function for real ALS contro...
