Re: Evo 9 idle stepper motor must disconnect study 12 v plea
no need to disconect anything
in idle setup just choose valve type = unipolar steper
start from slow freq like 20hz and watch behavior
theeese steppers are pone to be glued with shmoo so dont hesitate to remove it from throttlebody and make sure its clean and mooving according to ECU demand

Re: 2JZ GTE VVTI - Cold start issues, after start to rich
Hi! can you attach logfile of cold start (please check if you run lanbda sensor when no rpm, and wait for lambda to heat up before crank your engine) allso your .emu config file will help a lot to understood your problem. generaly theese tables take efect only when cranking and then 50 cycles after ...

Re: 89 supra 7mgte not going past 5000 rpm
aaah now i figured it out! it cannot work.. your dwell time is 4.2ms and you fire output1 every event, it mean 3times per revolution, 5000rpm is 83revs per second, one second is 1000ms, 1000ms divided by 83 revolutions is 12ms per revolution,12 divided by 3 events per rev is 4ms. so your dwell can b...

Re: corsa E B14XER LDD BASE MAP
not sure if dual variable cam, and drive by wire throttle, is good engine to play with as beginer... how your wiring is done? you have new loom? or some plug and play conector?

Re: 89 supra 7mgte not going past 5000 rpm
EDIT: wrong idea !!! toyota multiplex igniter needs diferent setup (credit to Denny from ecumaster usa) following text will be right only if you connect coils directly to emu with no igniter ignition outputs seems to be messed up i think that you have 3 coils conected to outputs 1,2 and 4 (dont kno...

Re: 89 supra 7mgte not going past 5000 rpm
i think your issue is ignition related, too big spark plug gap - adjust gap to 0,6mm too small dwell - increase 0.5ms poor coil + - measure with osciloscope when engine running on coil + if voltage drops down too rich mixture which spark can´t go thru - decrease VE -afr is jumping from 12 to sky , b...

Re: DBW in real world?
In EMU configuration there is allso checkbox, which define real throttle plate position as tps signal in ignition or injection calculation instead of pedal position which is wired to TPS input

Re: DBW in real world?
Karel its not realy clear, if it is same as for EMU, then:
Pedal has to be wired to TPS input
And throttle position sensor has to be wired to spare analog input and then configured in dbw menu

Re: best trigger disc pattern
Ok so i look thru logs and on subaru ej20 i found -836° on nissan sr20 i have -723° on some ford i have -677° and -825° on mx5, so it seems that values are allways negative and higher then 360. Ej20 and mx5 is wery interesting, because its offset cannot be compensated with VVT setting "cam1offset" b...

Re: best trigger disc pattern
And its even more interesting then that, because value in case on picture is actualy negative so -611.44° so it seems to me that range can be -720° to +720°
