Re: Low Impedance Injectors on EMU (regular/old version)
It requires highZ injectors.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
How about adding rpm change rate as a logging parameter? That’s what I used to tune when I didnt have access to a dyno before I switched to the emu.

1JZ Rough Knock Signal
Does anyone have any advice on how to smooth out the knock sensor value? Or does anyone have better knock sensor parameters for a non-vvti 1JZ? With it bouncing around so much it's hard to set the engine noise level so that the EMU doesn't retard timing and add fuel without real knock. Screen shot o...

Re: 1jz running rich
Mine is running fine now. Injectors were wired for sequential fire. The idle correction (duty cycle) that was set in the base map I got was way off. I had to change the values to between 50-60 and i adjusted the set screw on the TB. Lower DC raises idle. Higher DC lowers idle. I set the injector dea...

Re: Toyota 1g fe coils falling edge 5v square wave
Are you sure you didn't mix up pins 2 and 3? The ignition signal should to to the IGT pin (#2 in pic). IGF can be left unhooked and it just gets connected to ground when the coil is fired. Also try the test output function in the EMU interface to see if it sparks correctly. Check the spark with a ti...

Re: Toyota 1g fe coils falling edge 5v square wave
Sorry, when i saw 1jz coils I immediately assumed you were running an external igniter. You have it figured out in your last post. The trigger wires go to the EMU and you just need to change the settings to "built in amplifier". Make sure to set your dwell properly. There's ton's of information on 1...

Re: Toyota 1g fe coils falling edge 5v square wave
You will have to change the wiring by the igniter to that the ignition signal goes directly to the coils instead of the igniter. Then just change the ignition settings to "coils with built in amplifier". I'm running the coils from a 3.5L V6 Camry, but they're the same of all of this type from toyota.

Re: 1jz running rich
Strangely enough, mine decided to idle just now. Attached are my config file and a short data log from when it wouldn't idle.

Re: 2jz gte vvti no spark
Silly question, but did you rewire the engine harness so that the ignition signals would go to the coils instead of the igniter?

Re: 1jz running rich
I'm having the same issue. I'm using sard 800cc injectors. I even rewired the injectors and converted to sequential injection instead of batch fire (I have a non-vvti 1jz). I'm running the emu in advanced lambda with a 1.0 target at and around idle. I can crank the ve fuel table all the way down and...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
I know it's been mentioned before, but it would be really helpful to be able to copy/paste to and from MS Excel. I'd also really appreciate it if I could make the AFR Target and VE tables display in PSI instead of (or in addition to) kpa. That was the whole reason why I wanted to copy into Excel in ...
