Keelog and Race Technologies Dash2
Hi, I have been using the Keelog serial datalogger for a few years. I then fitted a Race Technologies Dash2 and for this you have to change the output on the ECU from 'ECUmaster serial protocol' to 'Race Technology Dashboard' so I no longer get data on my Keelog. Is there a way of having the Dash2 c...

Re: Race Technologies Dash2 and EMU
I just found this reply to a similar question from Race Technologies themselves, it may help someone in the future that is looking to setup their Dash2 with the new software. "Hi There, The ECU master EMU is able to output the Race Technology RS232 data protocol, therefore there is no need to select...

Race Technologies Dash2 and EMU
In the new firmware/software for Race Technologies Dash2 you have to select which ECU you are receiving data from and ECUmaster is not listed in there. I currently have it setup using the old firmware on the Dash2 and output on the EMU set to 'Race Technology Dashboard' which works fine but I would ...

Re: CAN EMU ECU not outputting to Bluetooth.
For anyone in the future who has this same issue.
I have fitted a 120ohm resistor between the yellow and green wires going to the Bluetooth unit and all is now working fine.
I hope this helps anyone in the future as there is very little information provided regarding the fitting of the Bluetooth can.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Is it possible to have a TPS option in the knock sensor strategy. I have a large LED cluster that lights up to report knock, this works perfectly apart from every time I come off the throttle at high revs the knock sensor value exceeds the noise threshold and causes the light to illuminate...which i...

Re: Connecting Aem WBo2 to EMU
Hi, If it helps, I am using the same setup and the only way I could get the ecu to read accurately what was on the gauge was to earth the wideband gauge into the sensor ground on the ecu and then to get the readings to match I had to use-- AFR at 0v = 10.25 AFR AFR at 5v = 19 AFR This may not be the...

Re: CAN EMU ECU not outputting to Bluetooth.
Hi, No, I am very new to CAN and to be honest wasnt sure if needed or even where to put it as I have no detailed instructions other than which wires to which pins. Do you have a guide for which resistor to put where? Thanks, Edward. P.S I also notice you are now offering an external datalogger, I wa...

CAN EMU ECU not outputting to Bluetooth.
Hi, I have fitted a CAN ecu into my Skyline and wired up the CAN bluetooth unit as described in the paperwork, all software setting are correct. I can connect to the Bluetooth unit without any issues but it is showing no data, only zeros. I know the app works fine as I am using a non CAN emu on my o...

Re: ECU issue
Hi, Yes, the coils are fed on the standard Skyline loom which is a from a 10 amp fuse, through an ignition switched relay and straight to coils. Don't understand why it misbehaved so badly after the battery had been off, and why the settings changed in the ecu and now whether that issue damaged the ...

ECU issue
Hi, I went away on holiday and disconnected the battery for 3 weeks, before this the EMU was working fine and had been fine on the same car for around 8 months. I reconnected the battery to drive the car and as soon as I turned on the ignition the rev counter was bouncing all over the place, the fue...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I use the 2nd table for running on LPG so 1st table is tuned for petrol and then when the vehicle switches to gas it switches to the 2nd table map. Edward. Table switch? You could build an entire table for VE2 and use it for your water meth. When it activates,...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Is it possible to get a seperate strategy for water/meth injection? I need to adjust fuelling when the water/meth is active, I could use the Nitrous for this but I am running Nitrous. I could use the 2nd table but I am using that for LPG so cannot find any other means of adjusting the fuelling purel...

Re: Coil with or without amplifier?
Thanks for the replies.
This was my concern that as most other ECU's use external igniters (whether in coil or separate) I wasn't sure how this ECU would behave with the extra heat of using internal igniters.
I will move to the internal igniters and see how it goes.
Edward.

Re: Tach Signal
Hi, In my Nissan Skyline I quite frequently get my rev counter suddenly dropping to zero and then back to normal, it happens seemingly at random so isn't too much of an issue. I noticed that the EMU manual states that AUX4 is for tacho, however I downloaded the setup and wiring diagrams for fitting ...

Re: Coil with or without amplifier?
On the subject of coils and igniters. I have a couple of Nissan Skylines that are running coil on plug and separate igniter units, the RB igniter is believed to be a known weak point (although I have never had a failure) I have the option to ditch the igniter and wire the coils direct and this tidie...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi,
TPS vs RPM under fuelling actually shows MAP instead of TPS, and whilst logging it is actually referencing MAP instead of TPS.
Also would it be possible to add a TPS vs RPM under Ignition?
Thanks,
Edward.

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Hi, Unfortunately even after updating to the latest firmware/software, when importing log data from keelog, the Lambda/AFR target still shows as 0.00 and autotune always recommends a change of all boxes in the VE table to 0.0 Also, minor issue but the table sets now show as table 1 or 2 but the log ...

Brilliant...I look forward to it. Thank you, Edward. Tommorow there will be version 1.400. You should be able then to use Autotune.
