Re: Common Rail box
Im pretty sure it would be similar to all the other common rail "boost" devices. They normally intercept the fuel pressure sensor signal - so the the fuel pump control is fooled to increase pressure.

The injection angle table is in degrees Before TDC, this is clearly stated in the help file (forgive the spelling mistake)...

Re: No spark from coilpacks
According to the schematic above your coils have built in amplifiers so you need to select that in the emu software. If it still doesn't work after you change that setting then you have possibly damaged the coils by trying them earlier with the wrong setting (they quickly overheat when set wrong).

Try resistor spark plugs and if your engine has HT leads ensure they are a suppressed type.

Re: bluetooth problem
Another display option that might be worth investigating is gauge art: http://gaugeart.com/ Since EMU can now output AEM CAN data stream this device should work with EMU. Gauge art converts the CAN data into video gauges that can be displayed on any LCD display that has VGA or composite input so doe...

Re: Antilag Setup
First of all if your car has vacuum assisted brakes you will need to either convert to non assisted pedal box or fit some type of vacuum pump to keep the brakes working. You also want some device to allow extra air to bypass throttle, a kicker or solenoid etc.

Re: Fuelling by gear
It appears your fuel system is maxed out. Have you checked fuel pressure is correct and consistent at rail under load? Either fuel press is too low or your injectors are too small. You need to get that max injector DC down or you will never get a good tune.

Wow, this is great news. A similar solution to what I was asking for a little while ago only you found a device that is even cheaper than the one I was proposing. This will be a very welcome tool for my customers...Jadzwin wrote: You can use Keelog serial ghost dongle to log without PC.

Re: Evaluate this tune? Any obvious mistakes?
Just noticed there is also the ignition Vs IAT table pulling 2.5deg of timing out full time too. Warm up enrichment table 1 is set up odd also - pulling fuel out between 20 & 70°C? add 1) Ok VE can be over 100% , but you still can have 50% in map, just becuase other factors, like wrong capacity of i...

Re: Evaluate this tune? Any obvious mistakes?
I am probably just re-iterating what has already been said, but this map really is a total disaster all over and I would not push that engine at all until you get it improved. Do not go anywhere near that tuner again as it is very obvious they donot even understand the basic fundamentals of speed de...

Re: Log markers and instant autotune
Both are welcome features to me. To give my opinion on the autotune feature, in my experience this is the best way to do it. To the others stating "it is not easy to do while driving", it is not designed for that scenario - it is designed to speed up the fuel map tuning using steady state load contr...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
AdamW you have several option to make data log. First of all you can use CAN data logger and connect them to EMU (via CAN module or using EMU CAN). You can also use RaceTechnology dataloger that you can connect directly to EMU extension port. Next option that will be available in next weeks (and it...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Apologies for a feature request as part of my first post here... I recently installed and tuned my first EMU down here in New Zealand. I very much like it and will certainly be recommending them to more of my club level customers. One thing that I miss however compared to other ECU's that I install ...
