Adam, the DET3 supplier has fixed my unit and replaced an amplifier inside it. Now it works perfectly! yay!

It should turn on with pin 1 at 12v and pin 11 at earth. If not, it must be broken! Did you crimp and solder the pins well, and have they engaged fully on the DET3? I found that my 12v pin poked back out of the plug initially, so I had to wedge it back in. The pins and plug are only a low quality/ch...

Thanks for that - I found it now and was updating it right. I've just updated FW to v1.32 and no change - so unfortunately I have to send my DET3 back for repair/replacement.

I am very excited to get a working unit back though, even after limited experience with mine. I love it!

Just searched the forum and I was doing it right, does anybody have the latest (1.32 software beta) firmware number that should show up when looking in the "FW version" thing?

I tried re-enabling and then disabling the launch control. Still the same. The launch control does sound similar to this issue though, as when I dropped the LC to 1500rpm or 3000rpm (below this particular issue) it did work as expected and make the bambambambam noise. I have installed my new DET3 and on the first test drive, after a few basic issues, I noticed the car missfired when trying to do a dyno pass.
