Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Thats fine! BUT the config file that you posted together with the logfile, it was not the same that you driving with, because in your file there is the fuel cut above 170kpa. Correct! That was when I was adjusting the values to see if that was the problem, but what I didn't realize is that I had La...

That did it!! I adjusted the Fuel Cut to 169kPa and it now boosts right to 10psi. I am keeping the RPMs limited to 6k for now, but I am so happy this is resolved!
Thanks a lot for your help everyone!

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Oh my goodness...So, I have been measuring kPa in regards to differential pressure, not pressure relative to vacuum. I feel so stupid.PSI-Motor wrote:200kpa is 14 psi, 100kpa is 0 psi
I am going to up that to 200 tonight and see if that resolves the issue.

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Would it make a difference if I said my speedometer was not working at the moment? It has not been properly wired up yet so the ECU does not have a correct VSS signal.

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Here are my settings as they sit now: http://oi59.tinypic.com/351topl.jpg I thought 100kPa = 14.5psi....or am I off base here? Regardless, I want it to be set to 10psi, so using the math I did before that's 69kPa. Even so, it was set to 100 and the issue is still occuring...how can that be when the ...

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Did you make your changes permanent with the button at the left side in the tool bar? Because i cannot find anything else that activates the fuelcut. To be save, can you make an update of the EMU to the newest version, and dont forget to dissconnect the ignition coils and injectors before you start...

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Here is the latest log. I did contact EMU's support personnel and they revised my #1 Ignition Table, it was pretty bad before. Didn't make a difference though.

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
I tried adjusting the Launch Control with higher values...I still cannot go WOT. I disabled it, still can't. I am at a dead end, I have no idea what to adjust now

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Do you mean disabling Launch Control or the VSS? I disabled launch control but you saw the effects of that. My VSS and gearbox config says this: http://i60.tinypic.com/kci4ac.jpg Should that be "calculated"? Thinking logically, I think it should be "Gearbox sensor" as the VSS is located in the trans...

Re: Review my tune, issues inside
Hmmm I think I loaded the project file that had a bit more tinkering done with the fuel cut...nonetheless, everything else is the same. Launch Control...my speedometer is currently not wired in yet, I am using an external unit to watch for speed. However, if I disable Launch Control the car will not...

Review my tune, issues inside
I got my MR2 tuned. 93 Gen2 3SGTE motor, well beyond stock. My car cannot boost past 2-3psi or rev past 4100-4200 RPM, I do not know if this is something my tuner did or if it's the motor/setup itself. Point is the motor needs to break in, it has very few miles and I don't think driving it off-boost...

Re: Help with map, trigger issues
Posting this since I fixed the problem:
IACV was letting in too much air, even after adjusting the throttle body.
Solution - plugged the IACV, car idles at 1100 now.

Re: Help with map, trigger issues
To be honest it hasn't ran long enough for AFR's to read on my external Wideband gauge. I hooked up the Analog output from the EMU to my WB output, although the voltages bounce around, as seen in the original post. I am running full e85. Ignition Angle is 0...guess my base map doesn't touch that. I ...

Re: Help with map, trigger issues
Played around with it some more this morning, still no luck. It revs straight to 2k and stays there for a good 3 seconds, then starts to surge. I haven't broken-in my motor yet, I hope this isn't hurting it

Re: Help with map, trigger issues
It worked! That error is now gone from the log! Now I only have to deal with that surging idle, I don't know much about getting that down so I can at least drive it

Re: Help with map, trigger issues
It is for this car, yes. Currently, now that I am looking at the settings...the camsync cut off is 15,000 RPM. So, I am gonna change that real quick and see what happens.

Help with map, trigger issues
Can any of you guys give some input on why this is happening? See below: http://i.imgur.com/MF9ggDY.jpg I see that "FALSE SEC TRIGGER, FILTERED" and my car's idle just surges, doesn't stay constant. Been working with Scott at ATS Racing, but figured a post here can't hurt. This is a 93 MR2, Gen2 3SG...

Re: Knock sensor
The way I did it, I connected it to the ECU and ground it to my intake manifold. Works just fine. Maybe someone else can chime in
