Boost oscillation/hesitation Ford Cosworth
Hi, The car did boost like it should untill a sudden point it overshooted a bit of boost (should peak 2.3bar; peaked 2.43 and hold 2000rpm that boost). After that, i only have strange boost hesitation... the turbo spools -everytime- up to 0,8bar, hold something like that for a second or 2, and then ...

I am looking for this in the software but can not seem to find it.

Re: Evaluate tune
Ok very good thanks for your input!! So... to have a better idle, the ignition from this area "20-50kPa and 750-1395RPM " should be lowered by 5-10° or BE 5-100? Because now it is about 25-26°.. so could be 15-20 or 5-10°? Just checking to be sure. Where can i compensate it with more air i...

I have agressive cams, and i find the idle could be a lot better, is there something i can tweak on the ignition to make idle less "agressive"...? My...

Hello,
Thanx for the help so far, how can i log the coldstart?
I'm new to the software and only made a few adjustments on cranking fuel with tips from the mapper, but not really improvements.

Cold start issues
Hi, I have my car mapped by Oppliger Motorsport Cosworth Specialist in Italy. When he mapped the car, it was ±25°, so no real cold start map is done. I live in Belgium so now we are getting temps around 5-8° and i can't get the car to start correct. This is ofcourse 100% coldstart-mapping issue. Is ...

I have found out that the ECU cannot read the car speed, so now the next step is to use and wire that switch or as they say VSS signal?

Re: Launch Control Escort Cosworth
Ehhmmm OK..
What is a working VSS signal? I taught just entering those lines into the EMU setup and save the file..
I just want about 0.5-0.7bar of boost (7psi or something)
So the first thing is, what and how is a working VSS signal?
