Re: coil-pack problems
What's your battery voltage with engine running? If you are getting wrong voltage readings you may get huge dwell times that burn your coilpack. Also check ground wire for coilpack. EMU and coilpack grounds must be bolted to the same point at engine block.

Re: Nissan 350z can bus. Need support!
Today i sniffed some can messages from the stock ECU, working on bench. Using ELM327, hyperterminal and AT commands from ELM327 datasheet. Tried with different CLT and emulated some RPM (logging parameters connected through K-line with diagnostic tool). Posting some logs. Can speed is 500kbit, 11bit...

Re: Emu problems subaru
If you're using the right set of 6/7 as shown below (rusted pair), http://spitfireefi.com/files/subaru_triggers.jpg You sould see a log like this (look at crank angle pulse and cam angle pulse): http://www.cauzzi.it/coupe/adaptronic/subaru_6_7_timing_chart.gif It looks like you are getting good seco...

Re: Boost oscillation/hesitation Ford Cosworth
Maybe there is an air leak, that opens @0.8bar? Look at your boost dc during normal and bad spool. Post your log files.

Re: Emu problems subaru
You have a power problems if you're getting disconnects while cranking. Check your grounds first of all, and 12v power to EMU while cranking. All the ground wires except sensor ground must be bolted on intake manifold, where they were from the factory. We can't move further until you getting disconn...

Post your project file. Are you using old subaru 6/7 trigger pattern or 36-2-2-2 trigger wheel? What about scope file during cranking?

Re: Nissan 350z can bus. Need support!
I really understand that, thanks)) But i thought maybe someone already had done that on any similar car. What is the easiest way to sniff can bus communications? i have some car diagnostics adapters, vag k+can commander, elm327, autocom, tactrix openport 2.0. We can get another one 350z full stock t...

Nissan 350z can bus. Need support!
Hello. We are building a '03 nissan 350z, swapped 1jz-gte, running fine on EMU. We've bought can-bus module and we'd like a stock instument cluster to work with EMU. Car has an IPDM controlled cooling fan also, and so on...
Any help on configuring can-bus extension would be appreciated.

6 cyl wasted spark and bank fire injection settings
Didn't found an answer here and in EMU manual, so the engine in question is 6 inline. 60-2 crank, no cam sensor. igniton order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 COPs are wired each one to corresponding ignition output. Injectors are wired similarly (each one to one injector output) Ignition outputs settings: http://im...

przema72, thanks a lot, you're right, checked it with a scope tool, adjusted timing with a strobe light and already started it, runs nice!

Re: Bugs and Feature requests
It seems that 36-4 trigger pattern is not supported? The engine in question is toyota 3S-GTE gen 4, crank trigger photos attached. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q19/pitcelica/3.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q19/pitcelica/2.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q19/pitcelica/3sgte_cran...
