i´m in the same boat , got a project that have msd system and thinking about running ignition and maybe fuel later on .
msd have a hall sensor that could be run whit the msd magnets

i will say the ecumaster is a lot of bang for the buck and have helped me get this far

i have used the det3 alter mapsignal and change ignition
oem ecu (jtec) runs engine and transmission/instrumentcluster/charging so going total standalone is not an option

It depends how much bigger will be injectors and on ECU. For 30-40% bigger injectors usually there is no problem. Using piggyback mode, is this still true IF ignition can't be altered via ignition table? i run it like a piggback ,i can change ignition up/down but i´m only alter the ign setting the ...

i have been recommended to run the det3 fuel implant ,to have full control of the fuel/injectors how far of will the base map be /ve table ? now i run the det3/piggyback alter mapsignal and im not that far off ,but i dont like that i alter ignition at the same time when i change mapsignal anyone hav...

In almost all engines group Fuel implant in DET can be use (Injectors are controlled from DET3 using speed density or alpha-n algorithm...

its a dodge -99 jtec/ecu v8 /procharger the oem ecu is for the transmisson and engine there is a new sofware in the oem ecu to run boost/bigger injectors but i use the ecumaster for fine tuning. email sofware from US is to time comsuming best so far is 7.53 sec on the 1/8 ;) its still 2000kg+ truck ...
