When I enabled the pullup the voltage difference was even smaller. It went from 0.6 to 0.7V.
But I was swapping wires to try all possible connections and I killed the sensor

Yes I have it connected to 5V. Tried 12V also, but the signal voltage was exactly the same.

I've used the exact same oil pressure sensor, but later went for the 3wire pressure transducer. The "oldschool" type sensor is mostly for gauges and the change in resistance is really low for ECUs. All grounds are new ring terminals connected to the same point, and like I said the engine works with no problems...
It wouldn't with bad grounding.

I guess I can try to tape the USB cable to the ECU next time
