BUG with the virtual output 3 hysteresis. Actual hysteresis is always 11, no matter what value typed in the hysteresis field. Can you please fix this?
Virtual output 3 is only output that can be used for IDLE pid activation. I added video into the facebook group about this issue.

Re: BMW 330 turbo EMU black
Did you connect straight hose from intake manifold to brake booster check valve?
Or do you use the original sucking jet pump between the hose, and if yes, where did you connect the sucking jet pump 3rd port (narrower hose)?

Re: E46 Canbus Thread
Hi! The problem is that the ABS is on another CAN bus. To make it work you need to connect CANs toogether and use user defined CAN to check if it work. Then we can add this into the software What do you mean by "other CAN-bus"? There is only one actual CAN-bus and the other ones are BMW specific. A...

Re: E46 Canbus Thread
Original speed signal is processed in the acs/dsc/abs unit and speed signal is send to the original dme with separate wire. The pin is 40-pin black connector pin number 22. Try to use this, should work? But individual wheel speeds should be also available in CAN messages. Don't know does the EMU sup...

Re: BMW 330 turbo EMU black
Do you have A/C working with EMU? It seems that originally when you press the A/C switch button the signal goes first to the heater unit, and then the heater unit send message via CAN to the DME, "Activate A/C clutch", then DME controls the A/C clutch and A/C is on. How this works with EMU, if the A...

Re: 2jz gte vvti progressive power steering control
Yes, i am using Aristo VVTi engine in my Silvia S15. When not powered, the steering is more heavier. If i connect it to the power source, it feels much lighter. I didnt tryed to use some progressive PWM , just on of, because drift car..... Thanks for info! Did you connect it to +5V or +12V? Found s...

Re: 2jz gte vvti progressive power steering control
I thought that the solenoid is in the power steering pump (2-pin) and it is originally controlled by "PPS ECU".
Info from 2jz garage:
"The Aristo power steering pump has a solenoid valve for progressive power steering which the supra doesn’t"

2jz gte vvti progressive power steering control
Is it possible to control the 2jz vvti progressive power steering (PPS) solenoid by 2D map? X-axis vehicle speed and y-axis PWM. I have Aristo 2jz vvti swapped into BMW e46 and I don't know should I connect the solenoid to constant 12V, leave it unconneceted or control by PWM...I Don't have any test...

Here are more info. It seems to be ground signal, so it should work with EMU.cmj wrote:The clutch switch signal that comes into the DME.. Is that a 'Ground to signal' switch? I'm wanting to use the clutch switch as my flat shift activation. Should I use an inverted switch input?

Re: E46 Main (DME) Relay / Switched Power Issue (EWS?)
Use wire from ignition switch to power emu (switched +12V) and any of aux output to control main relay I have found a switched ignition source right next to the starter signal in the 8 pin connector. This should be sufficient to turn the ECU on. Which 8-pin connector? Is this signal originally conn...

Re: Idle control valve recommendation
Basic bosch 2-pin idle valve motor. You have to use only one PWM output for controlling. It is used at least in older BMWs and Opels. It has two 15-20mm? hose connetors, so it is very convient to install. Cheap part, about 20-30€ for used one.
It is not the best, but cheap and works well.

Re: Cosworth trigger settings
I had Cossie back in the days with OEM 4 teeth crank pulley wheel and sensor. If I remember correct the original Cossie distributor gives 2 signals per revolution and the signals aren't equal spaced, so it didn't work for secondary trigger. I bought OEM IS sierra distributor with hall sensor (about ...

Re: Bugs and Feature reqests
Is it possible to add ON/OFF switch input option for traction control, using inputs SWITCH #1...#3?
Currently user can only choose analog input for adjustment. This can be used as ON/OFF signal, but then user loose one analog input.

Re: Ignition strategy
Okay, very good to know that the dyno log works that precisely. The absolute torque value isn't important to know (at least for me), only the difference between different setups and maps.
