Have you tried dropping the idle reference table?

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
Here is a good snapshot of your log. at 25:40....it shows battery voltage was a beautiful flat line....you tried cranking it, and cam signal is loosing sync (*add a resistor to help with that noise)....but afterwards, battery voltage is erratic.

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
I'm not entirely sure which cam sensor you are using but try ignition order 5,3,6,2,4,1 and injector order the same. use the "start of injection table" and the table should all be set to 400deg. Capture3.JPG you have some serious issues with Battery voltage. Could be battery, alternator, poor power ...

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
the knock sensors can be sourced elswhere....the stud oem toyota #90126-a0006, near $5. any bosch flat response knock sensor, check amazon, near $30. and any ev1 connector, near $10.
but...with shipping costs...and the convenience..its pretty close to the ecumaster price of $85

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
sadly the oem knock sensors wont work with emu, so thats whats going on there...glad you got that tps right, that was pretty strange...the battery noise would be the next thing i would dig into; all those spikes are affecting coils, injectors, wbo, etc and it will never run (i'm going through this s...

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
6) Are you running 1zz coilpacks? Change Coil Dwell Wizard to single fire (5A 37.8mJ) 7) Your TPS min voltage doesn't look right, typically its near 0.6-0.8volts....use this attached pic to calibrate your TPS. At 0% throttle, read TPS Voltage, set that as TPS MIN...at 100%, read TPS voltage, set tha...

Re: 7MGTE No fire - Can someone take a look at my calibration
1) Ignition output #5 is incorrect, change to 3&4...wasted spark is the same pairing to event #2. 2) Ignition is locked to 0 deg....change to 10deg and check with timing light 3) Log shows battery voltage low and irradic. Is it a fully charged battery? 4) Turn off Knock *temporarily* until it starts...

Re: 7MGTE CPS Primary Trigger Tooth Question
The secondary trigger, the cam, is providing when TDC occurs. This will allow full sequential. If you are setup for full sequential: The ignition order will depend on which cam sensor is wired, front G1 or rear G2. Ignition: 5,3,6,2,4,1 Injector: 6,4,2,5,1,3 or Ignition: 2,4,1,5,3,6 Injector: 3,1,5,...

Re: 7MGTE CPS Primary Trigger Tooth Question
Primary should be set to 12 tooth......the physical trigger wheel is 24 tooth, but it is mounted on the cam, which turns HALF the speed of the crank.

Re: Cam tooth count drops
IMG_4320.JPG I came up with this idea to easily try various resistors. Using a 2pin weatherpack, with various jumper resistors. The solution to my issues was a combination of both primary and secondary. I added a 20K to primary and a 10K to secondary and issues are gone.....Still unknown why signal...

Re: Cam tooth count drops
Disable camsync at 600rpm...and wasted spark ignition...1&6, 2&5, 3&4...runs...and no variation on camsync trigger tooth...thus no variation in ignition timing

Re: Cam tooth count drops
Lots of things have changes the past few weeks. I replaced the Timing Belt (theory was that the belt might be stretched causing fluctuations on the 7mgte CPS)....replaced all wiring and re-did entire harness. This was done for many reasons. I was changing injectors, adding flex, adding egt, adding A...

Re: Cam tooth count drops
I have not proven a solution to this yet. I did replace the timing belt and it was indeed stretched compared to a new one....but I'm in the process of fixing some other things on my engine harness, and should be firing it up in a few weeks.

The warnings indicate, the base map was written in a newer firmware than what you have installed. Try the latest 1.188 version

Re: Cam tooth count drops
I received another suggestion, that a stretched timing belt may cause noise issues on this setup. If the belt is tight in one section, and loose in another section, it would all translate to the CPS not rotating smoothly..........Also, from the logs I see I do not get any cam tooth fluctuations when...

Re: Cam tooth count drops
yes, edge selection is correct. We verified this, by sending multiple scopes back and forth with Ecumaster tech support. My cam tooth is not in the "ideal" "perfectly" centered position between two crank teeth, it is biased in the upper range alittle bit.
