Re: IAT, CLT WIZARD PROBLEM
The sensors I'm using are manufactures by FAE, water sensor is FAE 33010(BMW OEM 13 62 1 284 397), IAT is FAE 33165 (BMW OEM 13 62 1 725 323), and oil sensor is FAE 33155 (BMW OEM 13 62 1 433 076). I used the wizard for the sensors. I measured the resistance of different temperatures and tried value...

Re: Racing BMW E46 with S50B30 Engine
After a lot of work and some problems we got the car ready and racing last week. Still some work to do with the electronic but the car is ready to race. We got a good feeling during the race, first in our category and fourth overall. See classification, the rider Beñat Poblacion: "http://www.fotomot...

Deceleration fuel cut
how can I disable deceleration fuel cut? Raising "fuel cut above rpm" over the rpm limit would work?

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
I changed the bolts and seems to be solve. I will have to see what happens at higher RPM, but up to 3000 rpm with no problem.

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
Seems that if you are not using VVTI control there is no problem with this setting. I'm going to use intake vanos control so this is not a solution for me. I will change the bolts and put stainless or titanium bolts, that should solve the problem...

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
I checked and the engine keeps working secuencialy. Spark advantage is ok, I checked with 0, 6 and 12 grades of advantage (0, 1 and 2 teeth of advantage). I think I know what is the problem. Is not a noisy signal, is not a grounding problem... There are 6 allen bolts (At least in the S50B30 engine) ...

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
It is also working for me,teeth count remains constant in 115, it is suposed that should be 116 but the engined looks to work ok. How is know syncronicing the engine? I'm going to check spark timing. Thanks!

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
Not yet, four days working on this and no solution. I have cram, cam1 and cam2 wires shielded and since yesterday, coil wires shielded and routed away from the other wires but no difference, I keep loosing cam1 syncronization. I will try with a difference cam sensor today but I think everything will...

Re: Sudden RPM falling problem
It seems that is a cam sync probem, working on it.... Noisy signal, is making me carzy. About the fuel cut, how can I disable deceleration fuel cut?

Sudden RPM falling problem
Hello, talking about a emu mounted on a S50B30 BMw M3 engine and I´m having sudden rpm falls and don't know exactly why. I attach you a log file to see if you cam help me. I'm have this problem with and without load when I reach about 1300-1400 rpm. In the log you will see this problem at the begini...

Re: How can I set AFR for inj_const calculation
Hi again Thanks for those tables, the gasoline I'm using is 11.9 AFR so ethanol 50 is perfect. I'm working with lambda from the beginning but a question, is it not taking in account fuel type for injection time calculation? I though it was, that is why i was asking how to indicate to the emu that th...

Re: IAT, CLT WIZARD PROBLEM
¿Has someone try the values above with the wizard? I'm still having problems. Another faulty set of values: 0ºC -->6046, 50ºC-->775, 100ºC-->176.

Re: How can I set AFR for inj_const calculation
hi again,
I'm using advanced lambda fueling and working with lambda values, but, how can I tell to the ECU that for the gasoline I'm using Lambda=1 is 11.9 AFR? If the ECU uses the usual 14,7 AFR for calculations, injection times are going to be wrong and I will have the mixture leaner than it should.

Re: How can I set AFR for inj_const calculation
Thanks once more for your response. So if I understand well I can not set the AFR of the gasoline for the calculation of INJ_CONST. What I have to do is to "translate" from the gasoline I want to use to the gasoline of the EMU. I mean, if I'm using my special gasoline and I want a real Lambda of 0,9...

How can I set AFR for inj_const calculation
hello, I'm using a gasoline with an AFR of 11,9 instead of the normal 14,7. How can I set this for a proper calculation of INJ_CONST constant?
Thanks and regards

Re: IAT, CLT WIZARD PROBLEM
Are you sure jadzwin that it works with those values? I have being testing and I realised that keeping the second and third points as in the post ( 50º--> 1112 ohm, and 85º--> 264 ohm), if I set the first point to 20º, the wizard sets all values of the IAT table to zero for resistance values below 3...

Oxygen sensor setup question.
Hi,
I'm using external lambda controler, the question is, When configuring oxygen sensor can I use-see lambda values instead of AFR? If not, is it possible to add a new fuel with specific AFR?
Thanks
