Re: Knock sensor setup for Nissan RB26DETT
This is the current config. It would be very helpful to know, whether the output offset in ignition outputs is important for knock sensors as well? No. Ignition offset only changes when they fire. Basically 123456, is with an offset of 0. Then if you change the offset to 1, it'll fire 234561 Hmm, y...

Knock sensor setup for Nissan RB26DETT
Hi! Currently I'm working on my calibration for the RB26DETT engine in my Skyline R33 GTR. This engine has 2 knock sensors, one for each "bank", so cylinders 1-3 are sensor 1 and cylinders 4-6 are sensor 2. I'm using an "output offset" of 1 in the ignition outputs configuration. Is the sensor config...

Re: knock sensor voltage & 1 black plug
Regarding 1.)
Try to lower the knock sensor gain setting. There should be no need to electrically mess with the sensors.
Recommended max knock voltage is 3 volts at max engine rpm, when there is no knock.
(so there is enough voltage range left to detect knock)

R-tune

Yes, there have been many installs on VAG 1.8T. I have done one myself as well.
Please use the search function, there is a usefull thread on this forum about 1.8T and EMU.

I also like the changes, especially the check for inconsistent data at connection!
When will there be a next stable release for EMU firmware?
