Overboost protection VS Fuel Cut
Can someone explain the difference between overboost protection in the black vs fuel cut. Other than allowing the boost to be over the a threshold for a specific time before cut, whats the point of using the over boost protection rather than just setting the fuel cut in the fueling - fuel cut menu?

Feature Request Compare map feature Problem ======= When looking through calibrations it's hard to understand what has changed from one to another. There are often times you want to go back to see what you changed and to revert something or simply check why something works better than something else...

Ignition stage and timing angle issue.
Hello all, First, let me state that I don' have many hours into the EMU but I'm learning fast. Problem ======= The engine will crank, start but will idle with a miss. Trying to sync the engine I notice that it's way out and the timing looks retarded from TDC by at least 15 - 20 degrees. Timing fixed...

Re: Shift Retard on 2JZ-GTE Automatic
I'm aiming to do something like this very soon, but I don't know how we can retard the timing between shifts. I'm thinking the sports shift or flat shift could help here, but I'm not sure if there is a signal for the stock ECU that we can tap to acknowledge the shift. There must be something we can ...

Re: User manual and tutorial
Thanks for the reply. I was able to learn a lot today, however, I have many questions! I have a 2jz-GTE non VVTI. Can you help me understand why the base map uses the ignition events like instead of 1/5/3/6/2/4? Also, why is the injector phase 3/1/5/2/4/6? This makes no sense to me. Shouldn't it be ...

Re: good base map for 2jzgte 440cc
Hi All, Sorry to bring up a dead thread, but I started up on the base map with 440's except I have 650 Sard's. The question I have is idle is very strange, and I'm trying to understand why the ignition output 1-6 does not follow a normal firing pattern for a 6 cylinder? It's similar just offset by l...

Re: 2jz plug and play
Nothing that i know of because you are looking for VVTI if it's the jzs161 engine. You'll need to contact autosport wiring harness to see if he can fab one for you. I talked to ECUmastersUSA and they said they can't get reliable stock on the VVTI connectors which is why they do not offer the solution.

Re: Help connecting to EMUB
Got it resolved EMUB requires 2 12V+ one on B13 and one on G18. the PNP harness i had was for a EMU, and I just mapped over the wires. Was told that I needed the 12V B13 wired as well for the ECM to work correctly.

Help connecting to EMUB
So I hear the USB connection when I plug it in and was even able to update the firmware, but it always shows disconnected and the software is extremely laggy during this time. I tried windows 10 and windows 7 32bit.
Does anyone have suggestions?

Is there any user manual for this product, I can't seem to find it.I realize it's similar to the EMU, but it's not the complete same and I would like to read a product manual specifically for this device. I was looking for base maps for a 2jz-gte and found one at ECUmastersUSA, however, it's an EMU ...

I know better now, not enough outputs unless you use batch injection and even then, there is nothing in the software to control the solenoids.

Re: E85 fuel
Injector size should never be a problem. If you are just using as a piggy back you can add 30% larger injectors with zero correction because you need that much more fuel anyways just to stay stoich. The ECU 02 sensors measure air left after combustion so, getting to stoic on e85 is like 9.x:1 vs 14....
