I have question to Ecumaster team. Did you maybe tried experiment with some kind cable free USB data transition.
I tried to look for something simple but without much luck
For simple data transition https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_VirtualWire.html parts are ridiculously cheap but this is applicable on EXT port not an USB, then i looked for windows software and found this project: http://usbip.sourceforge.net/. For "Wireless USB" there are few USB over WiFi hubs available but do any of them have a chance to work (aiding camera, G-sensor and GPS to it and later looking at live data from pit stop will be just to awesome)?
PS. why I'm asking for this ? EMU is mounted under the hood, i changed 3 USB cables in 2y, 1.8m cable is sometimes to short, my EMU is always connected to cable so casing is not hermetic at that time...
