ECU grounds is for heavy duty like opening injector and ignite sparks if you put some sensor ground there you get false readings. Sensor ground is for sensor ground wires only. Look emu manual there is pictures and other useful information.

To clarify

POWER GROUND is used to swtich injectors/ coils and so on.
ECU ground is for powering low current circuits inside EMU
Sensor ground is a ground that should be used by all sensors connected to EMU

Hi Jadzwin :)

Thanks for your mail, I have tried to measure on the ecu
between pin 17 ECU graund and pin 18 SENCOR graund = 0.3 resistance " same as directly connection between 17 an 18 ?? on the ecu print"

and follow manual must pin 17 directly on graund,,, as "engine" block or good graund on car body ..

I seemed normal to SENCOR graund is completely separate in ECU just to SENCOR graund ! :)

I have misunderstood something or there are several ways to build ECU graund on !!

am looking forward to hearing more from you again because I think it's important when we have to avoid noise on wiring an ecu course ..

all the best karsten kjeldsen

EMU sensor ground i a common ground for ADC converters and triggier input circuit so that guarantee stable readings from the sensors.

So use sensor ground as a ground for your sensors, ECU ground as ECU ground
