Can Expander
What CAN I / O Expander used for exploiting the CAN Analog 1-4?
Or it could be used for Camsync In 2 Gear sensor?
Thanks for the tip.

Hi!
Our CAN-BUS module is connected to EMU device and the you get CANL, CANH and 4 analog inputs.
According 2nd question, I'm not sure if I understand correctly.
Here is a picture of the module:

Re: Can Expander
Thank you for the example of module.
I would not use the input CAM2.
I use the analog-input 1 for oil pressure, analog-input 2 for an oil temperature, analog-input 3 for the fuel pressure and analog-input 4 as a MUX switch.
And I would use a sensor gearboxes so I'm missing one input ....

Re: Can Expander
CAM2 is digital input only
You can use calculated gear using RPM and VSS.
If you want to use gear sensor CAN module is an option for you (4 extra analog inputs)

Re: Can Expander
Very good, input VSS solve my problem. I feel stupid now that I missed it ... Thanks
Re: Can Expander
is this the unit i can use for egt probs ?
JSR .....uks fastest mk2 astra now with emu ecu !
Re: Can Expander
CAN expadner is just for can communication and 4 extra analogs.
EGT2CAN is CAN device you can connect to EMU via CAN to have up to 8 EGT probes.
We will offer EGT2CAN at the begining of February

good stuff just got to wait till feb now
thanks

Re: Can Expander
can you use the expander and bluetooth at the same time ? if so how
or egttocan ( when it comes out ) and bluetooth
how many extras can be run off the port
thanks

Re: Can Expander
Hi!
CAN2BT module is under developement.
So in general there is no practical limitation how many devices you can connect to CAN BUS.
So you can connect dashboard, dataloge, EGT2CAN, CAN2BT and so on.

so just make a splitter lead up with sockets is the way to go ??

The bus topology should look like this:

I am wondering the same thing. Can I use CAN-bus and Bluetooth at the same time with one module?Jadzwin wrote:CAN2BT module is under developement.
Do you have this module called "CAN2BT" already in the market?
Am I correct? Only one module can be connected to the extension port?
Re: Can Expander
Yes can you guys put up some actual circuit diagrams of exactly how to connect the can-BT i am about to install this but still a little unsure
Re: Can Expander
I hate to bring up an old thread but this is a thread that was never answered so I will ask the question again, how do you connect the CAN expansion module and the CAN BT module to use at the same time
Re: Can Expander
There is a bluetooth CAN module availableduncan351 wrote:I hate to bring up an old thread but this is a thread that was never answered so I will ask the question again, how do you connect the CAN expansion module and the CAN BT module to use at the same time
