emu not connecting to laptop

hi all, I'm new to the forum and in need of some help

just finished wiring in my emu into my skyline, connected it up to the laptop and it is saying that it is not communicating due to it 'not working with the US windows version'
even though I downloaded the client software from the UK site... :(

any help would be appreciated

i have the same problem. tried installing the new version and still no difference. any help would be appreciated as i am trying to start up my newly built engine for the first time
