oil temperature sensor

Post by boostedkane » Thu Nov 03, 2016 11:56 pm

hey guys i need help wiring my temp sensor. it is a simple bosch ntc 2 wire sensor exactly like the coolan one but when i wire it like the coolant sensor i get no reading. i was looking at the ecumaster help and it says to make a pull up resistor. how do i do this and what resistor should it be?
i am also not being able to operate my fuel level sensor. it is also 2 wire but dont seem to understand the wiring of it.

thanks and regards kane

you can try adding a resistor from the analog input you are using to the 5V signal voltage output on the ecu, try 2K but you may need lower or higher to get better resolution on your input voltage range, it all depends on the resistance in the sensors
