can any body help with this wireing
im assuming it a vr sensor as there isnt any voltage going to it
OE PART NUMBER 9012039 93171450 207013
carnt find any info on this sensor
thanks

Re: cam sensor wireing
Probably 1 pin is connected to ground, 2 & 3 is balanced signal to ECU. I've got CKP sensor like this in x30xe engine. According to EMU instruction, 2 or 3 pin should be connected with B18 sensor ground pin and the second one to trigger input. It is important to look at emu scope, because changing 2 and 3 pin will cause the edge of signal.
Re: cam sensor wireing
thank you i will give that a try when i finish the loom

Re: cam sensor wireing
found a bit more info but still unsure about wireing it up doe this look right
pin 1 to b18
pin 2 to engine ground/ ecu ground
pin 3 to b15
am i right in thinking also its a vr and not a hall sensor as i 1st though ??
thanks guys

Re: cam sensor wireing
This sensors working similar to LVTD damper pots unfortunately driver is needed to read them, driver interpreting "phase shift" and generate signal suitable for ecu. So i think different sensor or lvtd driver ( cost about twice EMU price) those are only options..
Re: cam sensor wireing
thank you
ill have a look at the z20let cam sensor as i think they are differnt set out but fit the same place
thanks again

Re: cam sensor wireing
lucky for me the z20let cam sensor fits on my head in the right place
so i can use that if im correct with wireing ??
