Post by roquete » Sat Jan 14, 2017 10:57 pm

I made the attached file from scratch but im having trouble for it to start, sometimes start and sometimes it seems to be over advanced.

I had Cossie back in the days with OEM 4 teeth crank pulley wheel and sensor. If I remember correct the original Cossie distributor gives 2 signals per revolution and the signals aren't equal spaced, so it didn't work for secondary trigger.
I bought OEM IS sierra distributor with hall sensor (about 20-30 euros for used one). There is 4 teeth inside the distributor and I removed 3 teeth away -> only 1 signal per CAM-revolution. I used this signal for secondary trigger / home trigger. I had Haltech PS1000, but I doubt that you have to do the similar thing with EMU.

EMU supports this trigger but i think im having noise from crank sensor, even with shielded cable, that is why i need the settings maybie with 5v pullup or some kind of resistence in sensors.

Hi
Oem wiring loom at YB is noisy there is few solutions first make sure sensor is contented that you reading falling edge - on censor conenctors you will find polarity small sing + is there make sure is connected that way and also connect resistor across sensor - start from 220 OHM and try .. setting are , multitooth 4 tooth and N+1 secondary .

Solved with 470 ohm resistor on primary and enabled pull-up.
Car idles ok but due to low oil pressure i couldt see how it is on higher revs.
Will post later, tanks
