Hi, i am building a Ford Sierra with 2.0 ohc pinto engine and i got a map for my ecu master emu from Skogenracing.com that should work great for my setup as a start.
But the trigger is setup for 36-1 tooth wheel. I have not build any ignition system on it yet but have bouth VR and HALL distributor laying.
Can i drive with the HALL distributor ignition without external amplifier and crankwheel and most important what will be the settings for this.
I have attached an image with the setup for VR 36-1.

Settings for hall trigger
Re: Settings for hall trigger
Tryed to search the forum and came up with this, would this be the correct settings for startup?
Re: Settings for hall trigger
you will need to wire the dizzy to the primary trigger input, you dont have a secondary trigger so disable it (unless the dizzy has a second single tooth pickup inside)
number of teeth including missing will be 2 since the dizzy turns at half crank speed
enable scope so you can see if your getting signals
next edge rejection 0 until you know its all working
i think that should work, but you really would be better rigging up some sort of direct crank sensor then modify the dizzy to give only 1 pulse per revolution and use that for the secondary trigger, injector sequencing etc.
