Hi
I'm looking for some advice and general comments about the idle. A few facts first:
3SGTE rev 3 in a GT FOUR
New clutch still breaking in so a Dyno is not an option for another 500 miles or so
Base map was from Scott at ATS and I've not tweaked any of the idle parameters from the original without restoring them once I discovered it made no difference.
VE table has been auto-tuned and car drives okay, makes better power than the stock ECU (I can use 5th gear now where before it would struggle at lower revs and low load)
The Idle was fine on the original ECU and didn't run so rich. The EMU does run a lot lower RPM at idle, but of course, very rich.
I've recorded a five minute idle log file whilst I was fixing a coolant issue. I've tried many things but have not been able to get any closer to leaning the mix out.
Thanks in advance
Rich Idle 3SGTE

Re: Rich Idle 3SGTE
The easy answer is to contact the person that will be dyno tuning the car. If you've placed a deposit with them for tuning, they should be able to help get the idle sorted since that's part of the work they will be doing on the dyno anyway.
You say you've tried many things to get it to lean out, but you haven't told us what you tried. For all we know it could be something as simple as your injector settings being off.
