ac fan output vs cooling fan output; conflict?

Post by flubyux2 » Fri Apr 28, 2017 3:11 am

i have my fans operating properly, being controlled by the Emu. its on Aux out #1 and reacts as it should.

im trying to get these same radiator fans to turn on with the ac clutch. The Ac is controlled by the vehicle systems, not via the Emu AC clutch menu. i have added a feedback wire to the AC mag coil so when the vehicle energizes the AC compressor clutch, it sends 12v back thru this wire, into the EMU. This feedback signal comes into the emu using Analog in #1. I have the sensor voltage adjusted in "idle - analog in corr" table so that when the voltage goes over 1.5v, idle valve dc corr is 32steps.
-this does nothing and the car stalls out every time the AC mag engages.
i thought i might be able to go into "outputs - AC clutch" and select the same analog input as the "Idle - Parameters: Idle Corr analog input". then both menus will see the same signal so either one will trigger the fans regardless of ECT

can someone take a look at my file and see if i have my inputs and outputs set correctly?
