rb20 misfire issue cas related?

Post by NWR32GTST » Tue May 02, 2017 7:15 am

hello got my car running and drives decently but i have a misfire at idle and at other times. wondering if its my secondary trigger causing it.pretty new to the import and standalone world. primary trigger signal is consistent but the secondary trigger is not and to my understanding it is what controls ignition events. is this correct and does it seem my secondary trigger angle is improperly set causing my misfire?any help or direction is greatly appreciated.before the standalon car never had misfire issues if it matters

I was thinking the mis was caused by the secondary trigger, but found out the secondary trigger wheel gaps get smaller. But was in a sense related to the cas. Ground loop didnt help for setting the timing and hope position. Timing was off 30deg causing the misfire.
