Trigger wheel setup

I don't want to bug the ECUmaster folks any more so Ill reach out to the group here. Car is 7mgte supra. I have a 36-1 tooth wheel on the crank with hall sensor. A friend helping with installing the EMU said it did not matter the orientation of the trigger wheel. My primary trigger settings are "First trigger Tooth"-31 "Trigger Angle"-82. I'm concerned because the suggested values are 50-60 Trigger angle. However, my base timing is 10BTDC like its supposed to be, but is this going to cause any issues? With the engine at TDC, the missing tooth is only 5 teeth BEFORE the sensor. So counting backwards from missing tooth to sensor at TDC was 31 teeth. Some people have said it should have been 6 teeth AFTER the sensor. I'm trying to get the car to dyno, but it must be "Ready to Go" per their rules. I am no tuner, don't even understand a lot of this stuff. Is the trigger angle value of 82 a serious concern? and does the trigger wheel orientation really matter? Ive been told it does not.
Re: Trigger wheel setup
if you check the timing with a timing light and it matches the "LOCKED" timing setting you have enabled then everything else does not matter you have everything correct.
