Indeed but on page 31 of the manual it is kept separate from the rest, it would be easier to incoorporate it in the existing wiring loom if I can connect them together to the same point. I assume this is OK because B17 an B18 are connected internally, but I'm looking for some confirmation.

Connect Sensor ground to your sensors, not to ground. If you are replacing another ECU and not doing a flying lead harness, you probably only have one sensor ground wire from the engine at the stock ECU, that wire will branch out to the necessary sensors in the engine loom. Verify this with appropriate wiring diagram if available, or you can get out your multi-meter and check resistance.You need to ground your CLT, IAT, TPS, probably triggers, etc...they connect to sensor ground.

Same situation as B23 +5v supply, some sensors need a 5v supply, sensor ground, and then the actual signal wire back to EMU. see pg 39-43
