BMW M20 Cam sensor

Does anyone have a method for creating a cam sensor on the BW M20 engine? In stock trim BMW uses a coil around the #6 spark plug wire to detect cam location. Can this sensor be made to work?

But you can't use the ign table or fuel table when our engines are different. But some settings should do.
