Is the new Android Software ready to download? We need a logging Solution for the Racetrack.

For imperial units we fix the problem. For logger I think we release version with correct logging after the weekend.

Hi Jakub, I wonder if you'd consider a change to boost control. I think I asked before, but don't see an answer. The boost target tables are all great, but the base DC tables are not. Is it possible to change the Boost - DC Ref table to Boost Target vs RPM vs WG DC?

Can we have a filter for AFR as well?

I think it is better to have "real" Lambda value. Then you can see any missfire and many interresting things.
What is the reason for such feature ?

For me, it always shows TBL SET: 0. Shouldn't it be either 1 or 2? And if flex blend is enabled, possibly show the percentage of each table used.

Tbl set is 0 based. There are tables 0 and 1. I know it is "programmers style" :)

Well that is confusing since under the fueling and ignition tabs, it shows them as tables 1 and 2, not 0 and 1.

Essentially, base duty cycle is set correctly at the 100% level and discrepancy increased the further away from that. It is a bigger problem when using a 4 port valve. Assigning a correct base duty cycle for each boost target will fix this.

Hey Kuba,

i have now a problem on one project.

We installed an AEM Lambda gauge with 0-5v output.

The gauge work ok and give the right values. I tuned the engine with lambda directly connected to EMU at Lambda 0,95 then i change it to get lambda from AEM gauge output 0-5v is 10 to 20 AFR linear.

But lambda in EMU is then at 1.4xx and AFR in the log is correct.

Is there maybe something wrong at the calculation?
Best regards,
Jan

The Lambda is calculated from AFR (if you use external controller) based on fuel type. For gasoline AFR is divided by 14.7
So if the AFR is correct and the Lambda is wrong please check fuel type selected

It is helpful in some cases where lamdbda reading is 'noisy'. Many aftermarket gauges also feature filters, so much easier to read. Low filter power will still allow spoting misfires.

But when i use Lambda direct at the EMU, then Lambda is the true lambda, it is not calculated from AFR and is not based on fuel type, right?

Jan

Yes. Then AFR is calculated based on Lambda

In log there is button channel config , whatever I put for maximum or minimum value it do nothing when I push OK button and the only way to close the menu is by cancel

Better description: In table below, the two left columns show resulting boost levels for different wastegate duty cycle levels on a car I tuned. The scaler from 250kPa for each of those boost levels is in the third column. The right column shows what the EMU will use as the base duty cycle for each boost target after scaler. So, you can target a certain boost level with the scalers, but the base duty cycle for that target will not be correct. You get the problem of excessive over/undershoot from too large feedback limits.

This won't be a problem for builds that target only one boost level. For flex fuel setups, the boost target range is larger and this is causing trouble with current EMU boost control.

Can we log engine acceleration??

handy for road tuning VVT cam position with acceleration runs.

Or is there a better way to find best cam position without using dyno?
