Hi guys,
My aem wideband gauge shows mixture about 11.8/12 and Emulog can see about 13 or more (fuel target its set to 11). When my boost gauge shows 1,1bar, emulog shows nearly 1,3bar (target its set to 1,2). Why can this happen?. Tps do not calibrate correctly, when I push full pedal, only get 98%. I will modify the voltage to fit 100%, but this may be the reason to wrong/different readings?
Regards

Re: Readings do not match
You havn't synked the wideband to the ecu.
Always look at map pressure and not your guage.
Go in under sensor setup and calibrate your tps

How synk my wideband with ecu?PSI-Motor wrote:You havn't synked the wideband to the ecu.

My boost gauge its ok. Gauge and Blitz boost controller shows the same value.

Go in under sensor setup and oxygen sensor, it will say 0v = 7.38 afr and 5v = 22.38 afrpepifebles wrote:How synk my wideband with ecu?PSI-Motor wrote:You havn't synked the wideband to the ecu.

Try changing it to 0v = 10 afr and 5v = 20 afr
Go in under mapsensor and calibrate it manually untill your guage in the ecu shows 101kpa with the engine not running.

0v=10 afr and 5v=20 afr always have been my set.

The guage should be grounded at the same place as the ecu.
Then try 10 and 19 and then 9 and 20 and so on

Re: Readings do not match
I finally got my later type (more linear) AEM to read perfect in the ECU with a setting of
0v = 10 AFR
5v = 19 AFR
Edward.
0v = 10 AFR
5v = 19 AFR

Re: Readings do not match
Mine to iddle runs fine, the different its about 0.01/0.02 but At high rpm the differential are bigger.

Re: Readings do not match
Mine was the same using the AEM recommended 0v=10 and 5v=20.
At idle and cruise it was almost bang on but when I put my foot down it went off scale.
I calibrated it bringing the revs up slightly to avoid a stall from rich mixture, then richened the mixture so the gauge read 11.5, then adjusted the settings under oxygen sensor so that the log read 11.5.
I then leaned off to around 16.5 and did the same.
My log now reads accurately.
Edward.

Re: Readings do not match
Thanks for your help but, sorry, have no idea how do it. My English is not very good and I can not understand you correctly. How to calibrate the AEM ?
Actually my tuner has good controlled emu software to boost and ignition, but mixture is very poor and we dont know if this can be the reason or there is any map incorrectly set.

Re: Readings do not match
No Problem.
Go into Configuration > Sensors setup > Oxygen sensor.
With the new oxygen sensor window open, near the bottom it says "AFR at 0v" try entering 10.
Then below that is says "AFR at 5v" enter 19.
Those figures worked for me but you may have to try slight variations.
Hope this helps,
Edward.

Re: Readings do not match
Hi guys,
Its correct this IAT Calibration to my 3sgte?
I have too much IAT boost correction (90%) and log show 65º IAT a few kilometers normal drive, without full boost. With other map havent this problem.
