To get lambda for petrol just divide required AFR by 14,7
Eg. AFR 12,5 = 12,5 / 14,7 = 0,85

also when using full auto tune you have to turn off everthing like any enrichments otherwise it just messes up the fuel map and some times that can be a pain log tuning for the win :)
In my opinion lambda is more professional way of expression, so we should get used to it ;)
You do not have to turn enrichments off, You have to drive steady state, for which dyno is most suitable obviously. Acc enrichments have to be tuned after base fuelling is tuned.

I like the idea of having all 3 options!

could the quick-tune or auto-tune not automatically take into account any enrichment's? .. I can see it getting a bit like guesswork.... its a double edge sword because without them transients might show up as lean areas when in fact they may not be so bad.

@Jakub, when will the new Autotune version be ready? During test on the bench all looks good, but today in real world on the chassis dyno the current version with push the k button was not very helpful.

I am impressed how fast your always finds a solution.

Autotune would be a very good feature but personally I wouldn't want the software to automatically make permanent changes to the fuel map. A lambda correction chart combined with an easy simple way to apply the corrections to the fuel map would be ideal, the fuel map must be in view whilst making the corrections to weed out any bad numbers

I think the idea most people have for auto tune is something to assist in the initial calibrating of the VE table so it needs to be a permanent. After that any future adjustments temporary or permanent can be made using other features like the target lamda table and closed loop o2 feedback etc.

I mostly tune on a dyno but it's nice to finish the road map using data logging or better stll a good autotune. For best results the permanent changes could only be made after a lot of cell reads to produce a good average and accell enrichment can screw things.
I personally would prefer to inspect the data before making permanent changes.

I see we have some new features!!

equalize cells looks handy for smoothing out maps. Please share how the other ones work, you mention in the change log there is tuning functions based on log traces is that correct?

and now we can export log traces from tablet to client is that correct?

Is the new autotune feature works with AFR or only with Lambda?

Actually it was tested with Lambda and Adv. fuelling, but it should work with AFR and basic model as well.
Later today I post here intruction how to use Autotune and Equalize function.

Sorry for delay but we need to build new software version with updated autotune strategy. It should be available on Friday with help.
