Voltage at sensor ground

Post by Sworddylan » Thu Aug 20, 2015 6:59 am

Hello, I am installing emu on an 87 supra, 7mgte. The harness was rebuilt and pinned out to plug directly into the emu with sequential injection, all other sensors stock. After a few issues, i have fixed all of them, except the tps was reading way high, 99% and after some diag, i found out that the sensor ground circuit has 4.11 volts, at the ecu, and through the harness in the sensor ground circuit. The emu is brand new. Any ideas?

i would definitely start with the wiring. i would check continuity between +5v ecu pin and the sensor ground at the TPS sensor if you have have any resistance then its either a wire crossed or wrong pinout on the tps connector.
