Sorry for the late reply, i have some pinout info, but made the loom from scratch from a chaser loom which had been hacked up so not sure how helpful a pinout would be... i will.look theough what o have and post it.

I have made a few harnesses for JZ motors, What I really like about the EMU is that I can get rid of the stock ignitor, wire the coils directly to the EMU.

Hey buddy! im in the same boat, im about to start wiring in the EMU for 1jzgte vvti. Did you get any pinout or something?

Also, i can get my hands on a 2JZGE Vvti & also 1JZGE Vvti wiring harness, which one will be convenient to wire in?. My injectors are EV14 so im not concerned about the adapters for injectors.

I know for the GS300 (with VVTi). We can reuse the stock harness for power a 2jzgte vvti, it's almost plug n play.

However, I thought the 1jz vvti didn't share the same plugs?

Im not sure if i understood it right but It doesnt really matter what Grip - Connector it is at the ECU end. We just need all the connectors to fit in the engine bay & cut / Crimp the ecu side wiring into EMU connector.

What goes where to the EMU connectors.

Ultimate goal is to make a Toyota Sticky if the moderators allow me.

I have one for the MKIV supra for the DET3.

Be aware that there were two versions of the VVTi 1JZ, so be sure to doublecheck everything.

Here's a link to a VVTi 1JZ pinout for the EMU: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz3_t ... WRSQVFEMjA

Thank you Zach!!!

This is the reference I was looking for.

I totally agree with the different 1jz VVT-i pinouts.

The pics attachments I uploaded is what I have.

I Don't mean to revive a dead topic, but this one seems to be the most relevant to me.

Attached is a pin-out of a 1JZGTE VVTi JZX100 (see link)

I'm currently struggling with hooking it up as the JZZ30 pinout... well... as stated is rather different.

If someone could check whether this is correct? especially the VVTi bit.

Thanks in advance.

I'm currently working on the chaser and a few things didn't work, because of my mistake(s)

My chaser has shown signs of life at the moment but hasn't fired up yet as I setup the crank trigger wrong.

I'm curious as to why my settings don't seem to work.

Setting screenshots, logs and scope can be found here.

I would really appreciate any help.

I assume my primary trigger setting is wrong

I have checked spark presence (my timing light is dead so can't check ignition timing sadly)
Fuel pressure is good (43-ish psi)

Thanks in advance.
