Hello, im currently busy with doing a 4age 20v swap in my ae86. Im planning to buy an EMU Ecumaster and it has a build in lambda controller for the lsu 4.2. The problem is i want to use an LSU 4.9 with gauge but is this possible?
Thanks for the help.

Hi, if you want 4.9 sensor you must use an external controller and use it's analog output to connect it to an analog input on EMU or just use 4.2 sensor and wire it directly to EMU. You will find all the details in the manual.

Thanks for the quick reply but im pretty new in this and im not completely following. What wire do i need to use as input for the EMU?
Re: Bosch lsu 4.2 or 4.9
The picture shows 4.2 sensor... Anyway in aem 30-4100 (lsu 4.2) and 30-4110 (lsu 4.9) the white wire is analog output and you have to connect it to an analog in 1-4 on EMU.

Re: Bosch lsu 4.2 or 4.9
Thanks a lot!
but i see there are a few kind of sensors lik the 30-4110 and 30-0300 x-series. Whats the difference and wich one to take?

Re: Bosch lsu 4.2 or 4.9
4.9 is a better and cheaper sensor, aem and innovate are upgrading to 4.9, any of them will do if you want to keep the meter, any of them as got 0-5v output for connecting to emu analog in.
Re: Bosch lsu 4.2 or 4.9
emu BLACK also accepts the LSU 4.9 directly

Will the normal EMU ecu accept the LSU 4,9 directly?

Re: Bosch lsu 4.2 or 4.9
Possible. I have the same setup Innovate MTX-L and wired the analog out to one of the available analog ins of the EMU. Then you go to Oxygen sensor setup and set it there especially the voltage mappings, issue I only have is that I cannot put the exact voltage figures for minimum and maximum because of the value limitation EMU has for its minimum and maximum. So one more step is to do is to connect the Innovate software to your controller then change the voltage mappings on innovate itself to match the EMU. I dont have a serial cable so I havent done it yet, what I did was to somewhat lean out the Lambda targets until I get the AFR I want on the gauge. If I dont, it runs very rich 10ish on pump gas.

So it is possible as long as your write the specs in the EMU for the sensor?
