Real Dash issues

Hey guys,
I have got myself a nexus 7" Android tablet, it can see the emu blue tooth but when I fire up the real dash software it does nothing!
Is there some thing I am supposed to configure, I never got any paper work with the blue tooth module or any form of guidance ?
I love the product and my car runs great, any help would be great.
