E46 DBW problem IDLE TOO HIGH , because of SOFTWARE ?
So i have issue with e46 DBW, basicly throttle body wont fully close, and IDLE is 1600 rpm, basicly home position of Throttle body (when no connected to EMU) is little bit opened about 2-3%. When i try to invert dbw output in EMU soft and hit throttle pedal throttle body is fully closed. But as i left pedal, throttle body goes back to its home position (2-3% Opened). Question is: is there any chance to make EMU to rotate polarity of throttle body and fully close throttle body? Or how can i change it ? Pedal is calibrated, and even when you hold throttle body in your hand you can see a gap there, and push it till fully closed and then spring brings it back to 2-3% opened.

You just need to tune it. YOu must set perfect the throttle body potentiometer, max and mic position and may bee recailbrate the desired position at idle tooo.

Re: E46 DBW problem IDLE TOO HIGH , because of SOFTWARE ?
problem is that throttle body even when ignition is off, is a little bit opened, so its mechanical 0 position is not fully closed see attachment, throttle body by its self is always little bit opened, and i need EMU to rotate it backwards to fully closed. My tuner who has a LOT of experienced with ecu tuning told me also that, it is not problem in throttle body or calibration, EMU have to rotate throttle body backwards when its idle.
Desired position at idle is set to 0 and min max are calibrated

its all on the DBW DC Ref table, it will need to go into -ve numbers at very low/ 0 throttle position %
