Ecumaster forum

Have a set of wasted spark coils from a ford with primary resistance of ~0.5ohm (What would equate to about 24a power draw).
Can the ecumaster control the negative side directly? Or is it for active coils only?

After all, the coils is located on the bigger pins in the plug

It can control both active and passive coils. But a Ford wasted spark coil don't draw 24 amps.
