ECUMaster EMU first start on basemap, what to expect?

Post by diracdeltafunct » Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:45 pm

I'm getting ready to start my car for the first time on the ECUMaster EMU. I'm wondering if this is a bad idea when I don't have a wideband O2 sensor, I only have the stock O2 sensor at the moment. Will autotune work? Will I have any ability to adjust idle and the overall working of the engine, or will I be blindly fumbling about without a wideband?

I do however have working IAT, CLT, MAP, TPS, etc.

This is for a 3S-GTE in a Toyota MR2 turbo (1991).

Get a wideband first.
