Hello,

Is there a way or a update planed to run the stock Audi aby aan adu Trigger system 135/136 and cam hall or only with 60-2 conversion? At time i found nothing about this in the manual.

Audi sec and prim trigger are supported in actual firmware. There are a lot of new features in newest firmware. The manual is based on version 1.016 and actual firmware now is 1.062!

- 135 Teeth Sensor on primary Trigger > Audi trigger135 Teeth

- Second Crank Sensor on secundary Trigger > Audi trigger

- Cam Sensor on CAM#2 > Audi trigger

is that correct?

There are nor basemaps at all. But it is not a big problem. There a lot of informations in the imtermet. And you get here all help you need.

Why not?

We support audi trigger:

CRANK SENSOR (135 teeth ) need to be connected to primary trigger
CRANK SENSOR (1 tooth) - need to be connected to CAM #1 (with 1K5 pulldown )
CAM SENSOR HALL - need to be connected to CAM #2



CAM#2 defines what CAM#2 signal level will filter out CAM#1 trigger.
For falling edge LOW level of CAM#2 will filter out CAM#1 tooth
For rising edge HIGH level will filter out CAM#1 tooth.

That's great , thank you very much . One control unit from another manufacturer I have bought , but after finding out that does not support 5 -cylinder engines .

can't it calculate everything due the two crank sensors?

Yes you need to use 3 sensors otherwise the ignition timing will not be correct.
It is mechanical limitation of the Audi ignition system

the tdc-pin is 60° before tdc on the flywheel and then there are 135 teeth.
so wouldn't it be (135*2)/5=54 teeth for every single cylinder to calculate the ignition timing?

im asking because i want to get rid of the distributor and don't want to weld the a bracket to the cylinder head for the cam sensor towards the timing belt wheel.

sometime some sleep tells you how dumb you are.

just forget about my previous questions. crank to cam ratio is 2:1.
with crank only its not possible to set ignition and fuel to fully sequentially.
and thats what you have to do with a 5-cylinder...

In general you answered your question. But it is possible to run 5 cylinder engine in wasted spark

Ok. So now i have to add an additional trigger wheel to the 7a anyways.

Should i use the normal turbo trigger with one gap for the cams or are there better and more acurate triggerwheels i could/should use with the stock crank sensors? What about the r32 4-pin or the mx5 3pin wheels? Do they improve something?
