ECU Master Assembly

Hi guys,
I'm assembling ECU on my Swift GTI, and i'm doing the wiring now. But I have a small/huge doubt.
On the manual the pinout shows it's ascending from left to right, so the pin one is on the left and the 8 on the right. But today, I was seeing more carefully to the ECU and seemed to me that I saw some numbers over the pins, but those numbers were ascending from right to the left, and this made me start to wondering if the pin out on the manual it's wrong or the number on the ECU are wrong...
From which should I consider?
Hope anyone can help me.
Thx in advance

Pins on manual are correct, looking at the ecu.
The numbers on the plugs are oem for those kind of plug, dont pay attention to them.

Here i'm again boring all of you...
Once my last post , already had a topic similar, now before I ask, I perform a search... but didn't found nothing, don't know if it is good or bad...
Before I start to assemble my ECUMASTER, I had google for diagrams and manual (from other ECU), the more information I can get the less doubt's i'll have... or not...
On the ECU manual, it says to connect the power of the ECU direct to +12V (3amp fuse). Then the main relay will be driven trough ECU.
On other diagrams (motec, megasquirt) it shows the ECU powered up trough the main relay, that is powered on by KEY. (Well too much reading it's making hesitate).
ECU should be powered up trough +12V or Key (relay)???
If I connect trough KEY the ECU will remain the data log when I switch off?
If i connect trough +12V, won't drain my battery after a few weeks?
What's the best option?
I hope this noob questions doesn't walk away anyone. But I prefer to as ask before doing something wrong. I'm from FARO PORTUGAL and here it's difficult to get help or anyone doing this kind of assemble.
Thx in advance.
Regards
